What is the difference between proofreading and editing?
Proofreading corrects surface-level grammar, spelling, punctuation and consistency. Editing may also improve clarity, flow, structure, tone and readability. The quotation confirms which level applies to your document.
Which citation styles do you support?
The current service supports major styles including APA, MLA, Harvard, Chicago, Vancouver, OSCOLA and IEEE, as well as supplied institution-specific requirements. The applicable style must be identified before work begins.
Can you work with Track Changes?
Yes, a Track Changes version and a clean copy can be included where agreed. The quotation identifies the required output versions rather than treating both as automatic inclusions.
Can you address supervisor or reviewer comments?
Yes. Provide the comments and relevant document. We will confirm which changes fall within the proposed editing scope and whether any new writing, research or formatting requirement needs separate quotation.
Do you verify every reference?
Reference verification is not automatic. The agreed level of checking depends on accessible source information, document length and reference condition. Unverifiable, incomplete or missing details may need clarification from you.
How are the two revision rounds applied?
Each round is one consolidated written request within the accepted scope. Material corrections do not use those rounds. Replacement files, substantial rewriting, new citation requirements or expanded formatting instructions may require a new quotation.
